Purchase Terms
Last Updated: April 12, 2026
These Purchase Terms ("Purchase Terms") apply to self-serve purchases of interview services made through the Vector Talent Partners website, including purchases made through the "Buy an Interview" flow.
These Purchase Terms are between Vector Talent Partners ("Vector Talent Partners," "we," "us," or "our") and the person or entity purchasing the service ("Client," "you," or "your").
By purchasing a service through our website, you agree to these Purchase Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.
1. Scope
These Purchase Terms apply only to standardized, self-serve purchases made through our website checkout flow.
They do not apply to:
- custom engagements;
- retainer relationships;
- white-label recruiting agency arrangements;
- statement-of-work projects; or
- other services governed by a separate written agreement.
For those services, a separate agreement such as an MSA, SOW, proposal, or other contract will control.
2. Service Description
Under the "Buy an Interview" offering, Vector Talent Partners provides a technical interview or screening service based on the package selected at checkout.
Depending on the package, the service may include:
- intake and review of the role requirements;
- interview planning and scheduling coordination;
- a live interview or technical screening;
- interview notes and evaluation summaries;
- a structured scorecard or recommendation; and
- delivery of agreed service outputs to the Client.
The exact scope depends on the package purchased, the information you provide, and any limitations stated on the checkout or product page.
3. Client Responsibilities
To enable service delivery, you agree to provide accurate and timely information, which may include:
- job description or role brief;
- seniority level;
- required technical skills;
- candidate contact details or scheduling details, if applicable;
- resume, CV, LinkedIn profile, portfolio, or other candidate materials, if applicable;
- any interview focus areas, scorecard preferences, or hiring constraints.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share any materials, candidate information, or other data you provide to us.
Delays in providing required information may delay scheduling, interview completion, or delivery of results.
4. Scheduling and Delivery
After purchase, we may contact you to confirm service details, collect intake information, and coordinate scheduling.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page or in written communication:
- delivery timelines are estimates only;
- interview timing depends on candidate and interviewer availability;
- we are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete intake information, late responses, candidate no-shows, or scheduling conflicts outside our control.
5. Rescheduling and No-Shows
The following default rules apply unless a different policy is stated on the checkout page or agreed in writing:
- A scheduled interview may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.
- If a candidate or client representative fails to attend a scheduled session without sufficient notice, the session may be treated as used.
- If a session is materially disrupted due to a technical issue on our side, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to reschedule or complete the service.
We may, in our discretion, allow a one-time courtesy reschedule in situations where fairness reasonably warrants it.
6. Fees and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Payment is due at the time of purchase unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Your payment transaction is also subject to the terms and policies of that payment processor.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or similar charges, except taxes based on our net income.
7. Refund Policy
Because interview and evaluation services involve reserved time, preparation, and service capacity, purchases are generally non-refundable once substantial work has begun.
Unless a different policy is shown on the applicable product page or agreed in writing:
- If you cancel before any scheduling, preparation, or service work begins, we may issue a refund in our discretion, less any non-recoverable processing or administrative costs.
- If work has already begun, or if the interview has been scheduled, completed, or partially delivered, refunds are generally not available.
- If we are unable to provide the purchased service due solely to our own inability to perform, we may provide a refund, partial refund, credit, or rescheduled service, at our discretion.
Chargebacks or payment disputes do not cancel your contractual obligations and may delay or suspend service delivery while the matter is under review.
8. No Hiring Guarantee
Our services are evaluative and advisory in nature.
We do not guarantee:
- that any candidate will be hired;
- that any candidate will perform successfully in a role;
- that any hiring decision will result in business success; or
- that our evaluation will be the sole or final factor in your hiring decision.
All hiring decisions remain solely with the Client.
9. Candidate Information and Privacy
In providing the service, we may receive or create information such as:
- resumes or CVs;
- LinkedIn profile information;
- scheduling details;
- interview notes;
- scorecards;
- recommendations;
- service communications; and
- recordings, if applicable and lawfully authorized.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have an appropriate legal basis to share candidate information with us for the purpose of delivering the purchased service.
10. Recordings
Interviews are not automatically recorded unless we choose to offer recording as part of the workflow and applicable consent requirements are satisfied.
If recording is used, we may provide notice and request consent as required by applicable law or by our process.
11. Use of Deliverables
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deliverables are provided for the Client's internal hiring and evaluation purposes.
You may not resell, publicly distribute, publish, or commercialize our scorecards, frameworks, or written deliverables except for your own internal business use.
We retain all rights in our pre-existing materials, methods, templates, interview frameworks, scoring logic, and know-how.
12. Confidentiality
We will use commercially reasonable care not to disclose confidential information you provide to us, except:
- as needed to deliver the purchased service;
- as required by law;
- as described in our Privacy Policy; or
- as otherwise permitted by our Terms of Service.
If you require a separate NDA or additional confidentiality terms, do not use the self-serve checkout for that engagement; contact us for a separately contracted arrangement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis;
- we disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement;
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, lost opportunities, or loss of data.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to the purchased service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vector Talent Partners and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:
- information or materials you provide;
- your misuse of the service;
- your violation of law;
- your breach of these Purchase Terms; or
- your lack of authorization to share candidate or third-party information with us.
15. Right to Refuse or Cancel Service
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel a purchase or service if:
- the requested work falls outside the purchased scope;
- the engagement presents legal, ethical, or compliance concerns;
- required intake information is not provided;
- the conduct of a client or participant is abusive, unlawful, or inappropriate; or
- we reasonably determine that we cannot perform the service as intended.
If we cancel before meaningful service work begins, we may issue a refund or credit in our discretion.
16. Governing Law
These Purchase Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
17. Updates
We may update these Purchase Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of purchase will apply to that purchase.
